Kaitiaki of Others -Have you filled a bucket today?

We have been learning about being Kaitiaki (kind and caring) to others.
We read the story  - Have you filled a bucket today. This gave us lots to think about.

We identified ways that we could fill people's buckets to make them feel good and to make us feel good too!

We decided to make a chocolate slice to take home to share with our whanau. We invited Nga Ringa to join us too. We had fun working with this class.

We cooked it in the oven. Then made icing for it. We put sprinkles on the top too.

We also decorated cards and wrote to our whanau at home. We wrote about how they do nice things for us at home.

When we wrapped up our slice and took them home. We couldn't wait to share them with our whanau.

Hope you enjoyed them whanau :)
