Maths Eyes - Shapes around our school!

We were learning about shapes. We know about squares, circles, triangles, ovals, hexagons and even more.

Here are some shapes we found around our school. 

We even took these photos ourselves!!

Rona and the Moon - Drama and Movie Making

Rona and the Moon

We learnt about the legend of Rona and the Moon. We read a book and sung the song.

We went outside and acted out the story. Lots of kids acted out multiple parts. This video is made up from clips captured on the day.

Then we all wrote a sentence about the story and each child read them out in our movie.

Listen carefully and you will hear each of us read a sentence. And yes - each character is played by multiple tamariki. We had lots of fun creating this movie.
